About the Artist

Clara Lang-Ezekiel is a Franco-American visual artist currently based in Paris. She grew up in Toulouse, France, and earned her MFA from Kingston School of Art in London in 2019, having previously completed an MFA at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Scotland, and a BA in Studio Art and History from Denison University in Ohio.

Working primarily in printmaking, Clara also employs a wide range of media, including drawing, bookmaking, collage, installation, and digital art, adapting her visual style to suit the subject and context of each project. Her signature aesthetic combines layered compositions, archival materials, and bold graphic elements to spotlight overlooked figures and challenge dominant historical narratives.

Clara has curated and exhibited work across the United States, the Netherlands, Scotland, England, and France. Her portrait of Josephine Baker was exhibited at the residence of the U.S. Ambassador for the gala celebrating Baker’s induction into the Panthéon. She has curated several group exhibitions in Paris, most recently Let’s Talk About SEXism, Paris au Pluriel, Fais-moi Rêver, and Itinérances.

Alongside her studio and curatorial practice, Clara regularly leads art workshops in diverse settings, from schools to prisons, sharing her skills and commitment to accessibility in the arts.
